Abstract

To analyze the antigenicity of recombinant antigens of M. tuberculosis, E. coli Y1089 was infected with recombinant bacteriophage strains of¥ëgt11, and the expression of recombinant fusion protein was identified, respectively. In an attempt to
identify
the antigenic epitopes of recombinant mycobacterial antigens, the reactivity patterns of recombinant antigens against monoclonal antibodies of M. tuberculosis were analyzed.
Of 4 recombinant lysogens, Y3143 recombinant lysogen was selected as immunogen, and the antibody production in laboratory animals against mycobacterial antigens was determined. Antibody production in laboratory animals against mycobacterial
antigens was
determined. Antibody production in laboratory animals was marked in the groups of animals immunzed with alum-emulsifed Y3143 recombinant lysogen. These antisera were reacted with the whole cell lysate antigen of M. tuberculosis. This result might
indicate the successful expression of mycobactorial antigens in E. coli lysogenized with recombinant bacteriophage Y3143.
